We started our day off on the right foot by visiting Simply Sweet Bakery and Coffee Shop located on West Church St. in Newark, Ohio tucked in a cozy corner between Jim’s Transmission and The Loft Salon & Day Spa.

We enjoyed talking with Josey, the owner of Simply Sweet Bakery and Coffee Shop, and noticed several drink specialties on the menu. Word on the street has been that the cinnamon rolls are GREAT! However, we decided to go with the pecan rolls this morning. Two white tables and four chairs are placed conveniently just outside the entrance, which is where we decided to eat our delicious breakfast of pecan rolls and coffee. The pecan rolls were perfectly warm, dense, and rich. We highly recommend checking out this local gem of a bakery.
