With imagery that packs a punch and at times poetic style, this story reads like one is watching a movie! Excellent writing and an authentic story move the reader along on an adventure along with the main character, Echo. If you like fantasy, parallel worlds, and appreciate true skill in writing, give this one a read. I look forward to reading the sequel.
Jan Bear’s writing creates a magical road that makes you want to keep traveling. The worlds interweave keeping the story interesting and intriguing. I savored the language and vocabulary and when I got to the final chapter of Dreaming Wakes the Fool, I was ready to find out how Echo fixes her situation. I highly recommend Jan’s books to anyone. While it may be classified as fantasy, it is a read all readers will be glad they read.
