We had the pleasure of visiting The Front Porch Guild: An Artist Collective in Granville, Ohio last Saturday. We heard about their “Unsale” on the radio, which refers to unsold (artwork that hasn’t sold in awhile), unframed art, and under $100.00 pieces. Upon first entering, we were quickly greeted by Meredith Martin, an extremely talented artist; it was a joy to converse with her as she has a welcoming and warm personality and was most informative! Meredith is a wildlife artist and her favorite medium is pastels. She chose to paint bears for many years and continues to this day, but her buffalo, horses, wolves, and Native American artwork are also most impressive.
We learned that Meredith shares the space with a husband-and-wife team, who are Wendling Glass Creations. Their work is so perfectly aligned in the geometric pieces and all their work is gorgeous! Again, perfect details are in the work of another contributing artist, Eric Mize. We thoroughly enjoyed taking in all of the beautiful artwork at The Front Porch and visitors will not be disappointed! A couple of Meredith Martin’s bears are included in this post along with a photo of a church building in Granville that we thought was striking with its architecture and stained glass windows.

Thanks so much for all your kind and complimentary words! I totally enjoyed visiting with you at The Front Porch Guild and hope you can return soon. And thanks too for giving my bears some new space to roam!!😄
Thank you, Meredith! 😊
