Atomic Habits by James Clear | EarthScaper | Reviews
#1 New York Best Seller James Clear, raised in Hamilton, Ohio, is an American writer best known for his published book Atomic Habits on October 16th, 2018.

I thought this book was inspiring for developing great (atomic habits) and is very helpful if you want to avoid and eliminate the bad ones.

James Clear, after developing his habits from a serious baseball injury led him to make decisive decisions and habitually plan his success. Before graduating from Denison in 2008. His major, biomechanics, was individually designed. He decided that he knew if things were going to improve, he was the one responsible for making things happen. That’s “Extreme Ownership” as I read in Joko’s book “Extreme Ownership” in that earlier blog post.

Perhaps it was his ambitious drive, evident in his individualized major and commitment to his peers that gave him the tools for an entrepreneurial career. After graduating in biomechanics, Clear focused on writing about creating a better lifestyle for his readers.

“My writing is focused on how we can create better habits, make better decisions, and live better lives. I combine ideas from a wide range of disciplines including biology, neuroscience, psychology, philosophy, and more,” – James Clear

Some of his key areas I liked and inspired me are:

The simple Two-Step Methods

  1. Decide the type of person you want to be.
  2. Prove it to yourself with small wins.

And also,

-Each time you write a page, you are a writer.

-Each time you practice the violin, you are a musician

-Each time you start a workout, you are an athlete

-Each time you encourage your employees (or clients), you are a leader.
